You can view the Events tab on our website to see when the next Food Handler’s or Food Protection Management course is being offered in Kerr County.  For both courses, you will need to call the Kerr County Extension office at 830-257-6568 to reserve your seat.

Food Handler’s

This 2 hour course is recommended for all food service employees to help promote the service of safe food. It is a basic overview of food safety principals and practices that are necessary to ensure you serve safe food at your establishment. Payment can be made ahead of time by visiting the Extension Office at 3775 Highway 27 or payment can be made at the door. Please call the Kerr County Extension Office at 830-257-6568 to schedule a class date.

 

Certified Food Manager Training Program

In Kerr County we offer, the Two-Day Certified Food Manager Certification Course.  This program fulfills state requirements for Certified Food Manager status upon completion of course and successful performance on examination. Call the Kerr County Extension Office at 830-257-6568 by the RSVP deadline listed on the Events tab on our website to reserve your spot.  Once you RSVP, you will receive a brochure in the mail with instructions on how to register for the course and submit the course fee.  Or, you may print the Food Protection Management Course Registration Form below and submit to the College Station office with your payment.  Cost is $125.00.
